Mr Johan Gouws possesses sixteen years of Senior Management experience in the municipal environment (Deputy Town Electrical Engineer) entailing: management, Maintenance of infrastructure, Operational management, Design, installation, and commissioning of systems. He also has a further twenty years of experience in the Engineering field entailing: the maintenance of systems and networks, Installation and commissioning of hi-tech equipment, and various energy efficiency improvement projects from design to implementation. Johan has been acting as Technical Director of both Chapman Facility Managers and Engineering Services for the past ten years, specializing in energy efficiency in government Facilities, and industry.

Jacques started his clerkship at Ernst & Young Inc (now EY) completed. His audit background was in mining and manufacturing with several multi-national clients. He worked within the Ernst & Young Inc group in America worked after his clerkship. After qualifying, he founded Gouws Consulting to build his own practice and strives to support and help small businesses succeed in the tough economic conditions. For the past 10 years, Gouws Consulting has been providing business, tax and structural consultant services. Jacques focuses on building a close relationship with his clients to be sure that relevant and effective advice is provided.
